Open Badges: why?

Traditional education qualifications cannot certify the abilities required to represent people in the job market. Good practices, skills and abilities, gained by each individual on the job or through on-going training paths, do also bring value to their CVs, making them valuable in the job market.

Digital badges allow to effectively trace the results achieved in a professional or extra-professional program. They also allow to share the results in a simple and secure way which can be easily verified.

Open Badges are our portable credentials: we can earn and collect badges, even published by different organizations, and display them in order to represent our skills and capabilities. We can share them on a page that describes our profile on the social media we prefer.
